A Samsung executive earlier revealed more details about the company's upcoming Unpacked Event happening this month. Over the past weeks, the industry has been hearing rumors about the much-awaited event that serves as the platform of the company in launching new products. This time, the latest details came directly from the horse's mouth, which gives fans the idea of what to expect from the event.
Samsung Unpacked Event: What To Expect?
Seoul-based tech and electronics giant Samsung will announce five new devices at its Unpacked event. The latest information came directly from Samsung's President and Head of Mobile Communication Business Tae-moon Roh through a blog post published on Monday. The executive added that these new devices would empower consumers to live life to the fullest, hinting that it would be used by the wrist and ears.
While the executive did not mention any products, earlier leaks and rumors already hinted what these upcoming might be. Samsung could announce at the Unpacked event the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. It could also launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3.
In the blog post, Roh shared the top three priorities of the company's mobile division. He said that it wants to concentrate on meaningful innovations. Roh revealed that Samsung invested significantly in research and development over the past six months. He believes that this crucial investment would lead to bolder innovations.

Roh also assured fans that Samsung would transform mobile technology to be more intelligent, more personal, secure, and useful. In the future, it means more foldable smartphones and devices with 5G wireless connectivity support, the executive further said. Roh also mentioned the company's ongoing relationship with Microsoft.
He hinted that both Samsung and Microsoft have more plans moving forward. He added that its partnership with Microsoft would only continue to expand through its partnership with Xbox.
