Former boxing champion Mike Tyson continues to show off his awesome training videos but there are questions on where it is all leading to. Iron Mike has been given multiple lucrative offers but has not come to terms with any. That included a $20 million pitch from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship which he thumbed down.

This was confirmed no less by BKFC founder and president David Feldman who ended up being perplexed. He wonders if Tyson does have any real intention of returning to the ring shortly, RingTV.com reported.

"We offered Tyson $20m and some additional benefits, but he turned it down," Feldman said. "We offered Tyson $20m and some additional benefits, but he turned it down," Feldman added.

Had he agreed, Tyson was allegedly set to face one of the fighters on the BKFC roster. One name suggested was Shannon Briggs. Unfortunately, this is now moot and academic.

Tyson's side has yet to comment on the matter although there is another twist in the mix. Unnamed sources claim that there is a big cloud of doubt hovering above on whether Tyson is serious about getting back in the ring.

That is a question that comes to mind though Tyson appears to be open to the idea. He continues to show off training videos, most leaving viewers flabbergasted. His efforts could be nothing more than to inspire individuals to stay in shape, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As for potential fighters, the names of Evander Holyfield and Riddick Bowe have been suggested. Holyfield ironically teased a possible return to the ring, not far from the time when Tyson started showing off his training videos. A third fight between the two is being discussed but there remains no clarity on whether it will take place or not.

Hence, the real question that needs to be answered right now is whether Tyson is serious about plans of taking the ring once more. Most feel that his videos have another purpose and that returning to boxing is not in the cards. Also, his age and overall health come to mind. There is no denying that fighting at this stage, regardless of the opponent is also an elder fighter, raises questions of risk. Tyson or his opponent could get seriously hurt, a reality most see in the sport.

For now, Tyson appears content showing off his training regimen. On whether he will take that to the next level remains to be seen.
