Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced early this year that they would be stepping down as senior royals. Despite their shocking announcement, Queen Elizabeth released a statement saying that she and the Royal Family support the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision. And at the end of March, the couple officially withdrew from their roles.
In May, it was revealed that a Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tell-all book will be launched. Their biography titled “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” will detail their romance, marriage, and separation from the Royal Family.
The “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” biography is laid bare by royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. They have had unique access to the Royal Family and have witnessed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lives.
Now, a new report claims that Palace insiders are in fear that the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tell-all book, which they believe is used to “settle score” with the Royal Family,” will bring relations with the clan to a “new low.”
“Regardless of the truth, it will make headlines worldwide and give a fulsome airing to the Sussexes' long list of grievances, yet again,” one royal source said.
Another one noted that “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” will unlikely to reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex already plotted their royal exit “at least nine months” before their announcement. “That hurt a lot of people who had bent over backwards to protect them,” they said.
It was previously reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were offered $1million for a tell-all interview on the Royal Family. However, a royal expert is warning the couple to not do the interview as it’s going to be a total car crash.
Angela Mollard believes that if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will pursue the $1million-worth tell-all, it’s not going to do any good for them, especially for the former actress. She then compared their possible tell-all to Prince Andrew’s car-crash interview.
The royal expert also believes that Meghan Markle will pull a victim card like Princess Diana did in her interview after divorcing Prince Charles. Unfortunately for the Duchess of Sussex, Angela Mollard said her attempt will not work as she is not as loved by the public as the Princess of Wales was.
