Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma will be playing his final games with Chelsea F.C. after Frank Lampard confirmed that the 32-year-old is leaving Stamford Bridge at the expiration of his current deal. Pedro has been widely believed to make a jump to Roma, having already signed a pre-contract before the football restart.

'It was his last Premier League game, but the impact he has had here is huge," Lampard said in a report from the Daily Mail. "He is here for the remainder of games, but a big player of the club leaves and the spirit of the club I saw afterward was pretty special."

Pedro came off the bench in their match against Wolverhampton. The Blues won 2-0, securing a top-four finish in the Premier League table. Now, they will prepare for two important clashes, the FA Cup and the Champions League. The Spaniard will still be around and will be looking to close his Chelsea stint in style. Pedro played his 137the Premier League game and his final one for the Blues.

Aside from Lampard's confirmation, the 32-year-old player also announced on social media the impending move. He thanks fans for their support and capped his tweet by saying: "Now let's fight for the FA Cup Trophy!"

Pedro's move hardly comes as a surprise since he and Willian Borges da Silva were uncertain about their future at Stamford Bridge. Both had expiring deals and there were several teams interested in their services.

With Pedro's fate decided, the attention now shifts to Willian. The Brazilian is sticking to his demand for a three-year deal. However, the Blues have yet to budge from their original offer of a two-year pact. If Chelsea stands pat on its decision, there is a chance that Willian may opt to move to another club.

There are multiple clubs interested in taking in Willian next season. That includes Arsenal F.C., Manchester United and Tottenham. All has been quiet thus far but the scenario is likely to change in the summer.

Incidentally, Willian was dangled a three-year deal by Inter Miami. Unfortunately, the 31-year-old midfielder thumbed down the offer. It is believed that the Brazilian prefers to keep on playing in Europe.

The reason behind Willian seeking a three-year deal is because this may be his last chance to get one. Some believe he should be kept and that one year in contract talks is what sets both sides apart.
