Ryan Seacrest and his former girlfriend, Shana Taylor, were in an on-and-off relationship for eight years before they ended it last month. Naturally, as a couple, they shared information with each other. But, a tabloid alleged there are things that Seacrest wanted to keep only on the two of them so he forced Taylor to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The National Enquirer published a story this week with the headline "Secretive Ryan Muzzles His Ex!" suggesting that the TV personality tried to keep Taylor's mouth shut. The tabloid alleged Seacrest forced Taylor to sign an NDA when they started their relationship.
A source told the tabloid the American Idol host has been notorious for getting people around him to sign iron-clad NDA. It claimed that it wouldn't be surprising if Shayna also had signed one.
The insider speculated that, whatever the 28-year-old personal chef has about Ryan, it could be explosive secrets that he doesn't want to be exposed to. This is, allegedly, the reason why he had Taylor sign an agreement.
Gossip Cop dismissed the story. It reached out to a source close to the situation, who confirmed the National Enquirer claim was purely fabricated.
It added that this wasn't the first speculation about Seacrest and Taylor's relationship. Tabloids had made various inaccurate stories about the two in the past.
Earlier this year, OK! magazine claimed Seacrest was planning to propose to Shayna on Valentine's Day. However, no engagement announcement was made at the time.
Last month, the same tabloid made another claim but, this time around, it said the two were already engaged and were already planning a 2021 wedding. The tabloid alleged the TV/radio host, finally, decided to settle down after he realized Shayna was the one for him.
A few weeks after OK! published such a story, Ryan and Shayna broke up. Seacrest's rep confirmed the split and added that the two ended their romantic relationship amicably and they remain as good friends. The Live With Kelly and Ryan host has since spotted spending a vacation in Mexico with a mystery woman.

When Seacrest landed a hosting gig with Kelly Ripa in 2017, Taylor, who is from L.A., moved to New York City to be with him. The two split again in February 2019 and reconciled months later.
