A recent leak seemingly reveals several exciting details about the much-awaited Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020. Last year, Motorola unveiled the Razr flip phone, which many consumers find cool. However, the handset was fairly received because of its mediocre specifications.

Latest Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020

The latest render of the Motorola Odyssey Razr 5G 2020 comes from reputable tipster Evan Blass. The industry insider claims that the upcoming flip smartphone has an internal name Odyssey and called RAZR 5G. According to GizmoChina, the name could be due to the device's Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC, which offers 5G wireless network connectivity.

The leaked render of the forthcoming Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 features a Mercury Silver color. This confirms earlier speculations that the clamshell device would be available in the Mercury Silver color option. Noticeably, the design shared several resemblances with the Razr the company launch last year.

The internal display of the leaked render appears to be a lot bigger, which is now 6.2-inches. Motorola maintained the thinner bezel and distinct notch previously seen in the Razr 2019 model. However, it extends the display towards the top of the device.

It appears that Motorola has made an effort to reduce the huge chin under the screen. Also, Motorola seemingly removed the fingerprint scanner, which the Razr 2019 features. Several tech sites noted that an in-screen option replaced the scanner. Others claim that it is now integrated within the side-mounted power button of the Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020.

Other Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 Details

The Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 is rumored to sport a 6.2-inch Flex View P-OLED flexible display. The handset would reportedly come with a secondary 2.7-inches Quick View G-OLED panel. Unlike the previously launched 4G variant, the device would reportedly feature improved camera specs.

The Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 allegedly would feature a 20 MP selfie front camera. And, instead of the 16 MP snapper, the upcoming handset would feature a 48 MP Samsung GM1 sensor. Recent certification in China further revealed that the Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 would feature 18W fast charge support than the 15W of the Razr 2019.

Moreover, the forthcoming handset would house a 2845 mAh battery pack instead of the 2510 mAh of last year's 4G variant. Interestingly, it would house the standard 256 GB of internal storage a massive leap from the 2019's 128 GB. Rumors have it that the Motorola Razr Odyssey 5G 2020 would have at least 8 GB of RAM.
