Prince William, apparently, looks a lot less appealing with his thinning hair. The Duke of Cambridge had the lowest score in a poll for celebrities with bald hair because he apparently looks "old and sad."

According to The Sun, Prince William scored the lowest at two percent in the survey conducted by London's Harley Street Skin Clinic among men between the ages of 25 to 65. The result showed that the men don't want the kind of bald look as Prince William.

Topping the poll of the sexiest bald man is action star Vin Diesel. Also, scoring high in the survey is box office superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as well as Jason Statham, Patrick Stewart and Bruce Willis.

Dr. Aamer Khan of the clinic said that baldness looks good in some men. There are, also, a lot of men who'll appreciate looking half as good as some of these bald superstars.

Prince William, however, accepts that his hair is not his best feature but he also doesn't make extra efforts to cover his baldness. According to Daily Mail, the Duke of Cambridge embraces the common Windsor physical family trait -- male pattern baldness. There was one instance where Prince William even refused the suggestion to "give him more hair" when his profile was minted.

During the release of the commemorative coin celebrating four generations of the royal family, Prince William's hair loss makeover was the subject of serious discussions among the Royal Mint designers.

Prince William isn't one to get sensitive about comments regarding his hair. His brother, Prince Harry, and wife, Kate Middleton, joked about his thinning hairline many times before and he would remain a good sport about it.

A friend revealed that Kate has no qualms about kidding Prince William over going bald. They two would actually banter about it in public and would feed off each other's good-natured teasing like a comedy act.

In 2017, Prince William made fun of the fact that he is losing his hair. He once met a barbershop owner on a royal engagement and the Duke of Cambridge quipped that he can't give him much business.

Prince William's hair loss started years before he got married to Kate and even Prince Charles joked about his hairline on their wedding day.  The royal tried different hairstyles and also wore hats to cover it up in the beginning but he has fully embraced the bald look since becoming a dad.
