Zack Snyder's version of Justice League is officially set to premiere on HBO Max next year. But, what exactly can fans expect in the Justice League Snyder Cut? The filmmaker has just shared some awesome new details about the director's cut of the DC Extended Universe flick. In addition to that, Snyder unveiled the first clip from the movie which actually features Henry Cavill's Superman in the iconic black suit.

There is little doubt that DC fans finally got what they were asking for when it was confirmed that the Justice League Snyder Cut exists and will be released on HBO Max. Of course, Zack Snyder has long been implying that his own version of the DC Extended Universe flick is real but there were concerns about Warner Bros. not wanting to release the longer cut of the film. Luckily, that all changed with an official announcement confirming the release of the Snyder Cut. But, now that everyone knows it's real, what is there to look forward to in the grittier version of the movie?

Zack Snyder shared some details about the Justice League Snyder Cut when he took part in a special panel that was dedicated to him during Comic-Con@Home. During the panel, the Man of Steel director was asked what kind of footage fans can expect in his version of the film. Interestingly, Snyder stated that his director's cut will only feature scenes that he originally shot and will not show anything that was filmed by replacement director Joss Whedon.

"I would destroy the movie, I would set it on fire, before I would use a single frame that I did not photograph," Snyder said before adding that "that is a f--king hard fact." He then added that the Justice League Snyder Cut will effectively erase the theatrical release from the audience's memories.

"I literally would blow that thing up, if I thought for a second...Anything you see in this movie that reminds you of the theatrical release - which again, famously, I literally have never seen - would be because that was a thing that I had done, and was being borrowed for whatever, that Frankenstein's monster that you got in the theater," Snyder said.

Amazingly, Zack Snyder decided to prove his point by sharing a scene that would appear in Justice League Snyder Cut. In the clip, Alfred Pennyworth is fixing one of Bruce Wayne's cars when Superman flies in and casually walks up to him saying, "I'm assuming you're Alfred." The best thing about the scene is that it features Henry Cavill's character in a black Superman suit. You can watch it in the video below at the 38:09 mark.

The Justice League Snyder Cut has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to premiere on HBO Max early next year.
