It looks like MONSTA X is one of the busiest boy groups this year. They have already released two different albums in early 2020 and have been taking part in several variety shows including MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation and TwoTuckGom's NewtroLand. However, it looks like the idols will not be slacking off as the year comes to an end. Joohoney has just revealed that he is currently working on his new mixtape which will be released before the end of 2020.
MONSTA X has already been very busy for the past months. On Valentines Day this year, the group released their first English-language album All About Luv, which debuted at Number 5 on the Billboard 200. This was followed by the release of the mini-album Fantasia X in May, and it looks like the idols will have more treats for their fans in the upcoming months. Rapper Joohoney had admitted in a live broadcast that he has been working on his second mixtape since last year and has every intention to release it before the year ends.
In his latest VLive broadcast, Joohoney showed fans his studio where he is working on music. During the broadcast, Lee Jooheon let Monbebes hear some interesting tracks like the original version of MONSTA X's debut song 'Trespass' as well as a rare version of the B-side 'Mirror' from their EP Follow: Find You. In addition to that, the rapper showed off his collection of Nike shoes that were encased in a glass shrine and revealed that he is kept company in the studio by his Honeygom body pillow as well as a tiger plushie he named Matthew. But most importantly, Joohoney confessed that he is in the studio to work on his second mixtape.
There were not a lot of details revealed but Joohoney stated that he has been working on the album since 2019 and that some of the songs might seem outdated. However, he continues to work on them and teased that he already has a date in mind on when to release the mixtape.
Joohoney isn't the only member of MONSTA X who is working on a solo effort. It was previously reported that I.M. had confirmed he is hard at work on his own solo album which he also intends to release before the end of the year. Additionally, Im Changkyun teased that there will be another MONSTA X album that will be dropped in 2020.
