A behind-the-scenes video of Princess Anne coaching Queen Elizabeth during a Zoom chat is making the rounds online and it shows that their royal struggles are relatable to commoners adapting to life during the pandemic.

The sweet mother and daughter clip is part of an ITV special to celebrate Princess Anne's 70th birthday this August. It was recorded two months ago when the Queen and the Princess Royal had a video conference chat together with a group of carers for Carers Week.

Princess Anne is seen in the video asking her mom how many people she could see on her computer screen during the chat. Princess Anne then told Queen Elizabeth that there should be six people but her mother replied she could only see four.

The Princess Royal laughed at her mother's response and said that it's probably all right. Princess Anne quipped that the Queen doesn't need to see her on the screen since she knows what she looks like.

Queen Elizabeth has been staying in isolation in Windsor since the pandemic crisis started. Princess Anne, on the other hand, has been holed up in her home in Gatcombe Park, where her children and grandkids live nearby.

The royal family has been working from home during the lockdown but they have restarted in-person royal engagements since the restrictions were relaxed earlier this month. Queen Elizabeth, however, continues to be in isolation due to her vulnerable age.

The monarch is set to fly to Balmoral, Scotland with Prince Philip and will remain in isolation in the Highlands until October. The Queen, however, is expected to visit the Church as a devotee and she will be following social distance protocols and wearing a mask

Meanwhile, The Princess Royal guest-edited for Country Life magazine for her birthday. She wrote about the impact of her parents' experiences in her life.

Princess Anne reflected on her father's "disjointed life" as a young man living in Scotland after his family was exiled from their kingdom in Greece. She said that she feels fortunate that her parents' love of nature and the countryside rubbed off on her, especially her father, who learned to farm as a way to cope and use his talents and skills. The Princess Royal said that her father is a hard act to follow.

Princess Anne turns 70 years old on Aug. 15. The ITV special aired on July 29, the same day that the Country Life issue hit the newsstands.
