Several leaks revealing the new set of features of the rumored Apple Watch Series 6 recently surfaced online. The leaks unveiled helpful health features like sleep tracker and blood oxygen monitoring sensor coming to the next-generation smart wearable from the Cupertino company. Additionally, it revealed that the Apple Watch Series 6 might sport a bumped battery capacity.

A report from MySmartPrice revealed that small batteries on their way to the regulatory process in South Korea could be for the Apple Watch Series 6. The report mentioned three batteries listed on the regulatory filings. These have battery capacities of 262.9 mAh, 265.9 mAh and 303.8 mAh, which many Apple fans speculated to be intended for Apple's next wearable.

It is highly likely that these speculations about the battery are based on the fact that all Apple Watch Series 5 models are equipped with 296 mAh battery cells. Apple makes sure that it does some efficiency and optimizations improvements on its smart wearable each year. So, it makes sense that these rumored batteries are for the Apple Watch Series 6.

Aside from the battery size of the Apple Watch Series 6, Digitimes shared the upcoming smart wearables new features. Citing supply chain sources, the Taiwan-based publication confirmed earlier rumors that the upcoming watch would feature a blood oxygen sensor. It also mentioned about the much-awaited sleep tracking technology packed in Apple Watch Series 6.

Medical professionals acknowledge that the level of oxygen in the blood is a good sign of respiratory and other health problems. Alongside the ECG and sleep tracking feature, Apple is transforming its smart wearable to an easy to use health monitoring device. 9to5Mac previously reported about discovering the sensor in the watchOS7 beta.

With the much-anticipated Apple event coming in September or October, fans would soon learn more about the new features of the Apple Watch Series 6. Apple traditionally holds an event in September to showcase the new iPhone line up and other new products. However, several industry insiders claimed that the event might happen but at a much later month this year.
