Based on the insider's latest information, the iPhone 12 (5.4-inch) with part number A2471 features a 2227 mAh battery. The iPhone 12 Max (6.1-inch) with part number A2479 houses 2815 mAh battery, according to Komiya. Meanwhile, the higher tier iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch) with the part number A2431 sports 2775 mAh battery cell while the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch) with part number A2466 features 3687 mAh battery pack.

Another information from industry insider the_tech_guy claims that the iPhone 12 Pro Max could feature 4380 mAh rated battery capacity with part number A2389. According to GizmoChina, the Pro Max model would utilize a much smaller A2466 battery of 3687 mAh. It was reported earlier that the highest tier iPhone 12 Pro Max would ship with 5G support. It is only logical for Apple to place a battery with a higher battery capacity on the iPhone 12 Pro Max if it would indeed feature 5G support.
