James Corden isn't replacing Ellen DeGeneres in her talk show. It is, allegedly, Kristen Bell, who would step in as the new host of the show that has been battered by bullying and staff mistreatment accusations for the past weeks.

According to OK! Magazine, the top executives of The Ellen DeGeneres Show would prefer to replace the comedian with a female host. NBC and Warner Bros. bosses reportedly "quietly grooming" Bell as DeGeneres' replacement for some time now.

The show's executives, allegedly, think Kristen is funny and everyone can relate to her. On top of that, The Good Place actress is also loved in Hollywood.

Gossip Cop, however, doesn't think Kristen Bell would be the new host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The publication noted that there was no indication that NBC and Warner Bros is firing its award-winning host. There is, also, no confirmation that the show will be canceled.

In fact, it's the other way around. When speculations started circulating that NBC is pulling the plug on Ellen's show, executive producer Andy Lassner tweeted, "nobody is going off the air."

It was a short message but enough to assure fans that Ellen's show is not getting canceled. Gossip Cop added that the most concerning accusations on the talk show were around its executive producers rather than DeGeneres herself.

The publication, also, believed that Kristen Bell doesn't have time to host a daily talk show. Once the TV and movie production schedules go back to normal, Bell would start filming her upcoming movie with Leslie Jones.

In addition, the Veronica Mars actress may have future hosting duties for Encore! on Disney+, which she, also, executive produces. Bell will, also, serve as the narrator for the upcoming Gossip Girl reboot on HBO Max.

At the moment, the actress is busy promoting her latest book, The World Needs More Purple People. Bell's latest project will be out in bookstores on August 10.

Gossip Cop said OK! could have made an assumption that Bell would be replacing DeGeneres based on its previous report suggesting the same thing. Back in April 2019, the tabloid claimed Ellen was preparing Kristen to take over her show.

The Finding Dory actress, allegedly, offered Bell to host her show because she believed Kristen is the perfect person to take her throne. Apparently, Ellen thinks Kristen is adorable, a great interviewer, and she could connect with her demographic. The tabloid made an assumption after Kristen Bell received positive reviews when she stepped in as guest host in one episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018.
