Insiders told TMZ the couple would not be talking about any political issues while they try to work out their relationship. The two are on a remote Caribbean island, along with their four kids.
The publication also noted that they have not talked about politics at all for a long while. The tipster revealed the 43-year-old rapper has made it clear to his wife that he would continue this presidential run, and that it is a "non-negotiable issue." Although he may face a lot of problems in continuing his bid, he will continue his run.
It is quite evident that there is a political divide between the two. West is pro-life, while Kardashian is an advocate for family planning. In fact, she has been working with Planned Parenthood for years.
The fashion mogul had shaded Planned Parenthood in his previous interview with Forbes, but the organization also got back at him. However, the couple are both for prison reform.
So, despite their issues over politics, they will not try to mend their differences about this matter until they finally repair their romance. Earlier reports revealed Kardashian and West traveled to the island fortress to be away from the paparazzi as they sort out their marriage.
As their relationship is reportedly hanging by a thread following Kanye's public meltdowns and social media rants, it is their alleged "desperate final bid" to fix everything between them. Reports have it that they left Wyoming via private jet to go to the Caribbean.
According to Daily Mail, aside from their kids, West and Kardashian allegedly brought their pastor, Rich Wilkerson Jr., who officiated their marriage in 2014, on their so-called "make or break" trip. However, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star decided not to bring her mother, Kris Jenner, with them.
A different source told The Sun that their trip is not a romantic holiday, so Jenner did not have to tag along. They will use this chance to reconnect to each other after all the chaos that has occurred.
