Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their third baby nine months ago. However, the celebrity couple have been very secretive when it comes to the little details about their new bundle of joy, choosing not to share the child's name.

But, did Reynolds and Lively actually allow one of their friends to make the revelation in the most adorable way? Taylor Swift has just revealed the baby's name in one of her new songs.

Taylor Swift recently dropped a surprise album that nobody knew she was working on. The album, titled Folklore, boasts of 16 new songs as well as a bonus track "The Lakes." However, it was the song 'Betty' that caught the interest of fans since it features the names of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's two older daughters James and Inez. With that in mind, there have been speculations that 'Betty' is the name of their third child.

So, is it true that Taylor Swift named her song "Betty" after Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's third daughter? The Grammy Award-winning musician confirmed in an interview that the names she uses in her songs belong to real people.

"I named all the characters in this story after my friend's kids, and I hope you like it!" Swift said. She, then, added that the song is actually written in the perspective of a teenage boy who is trying to apologize to a girl.

"He lost the love of his life, basically, and doesn't understand how to get it back. I think we all have these situations in our lives where we learn to really, really give a heartfelt apology for the first time," Swift continued. "Everyone makes mistakes, everybody really messes up sometimes."

The song "Betty" features the lines, "Betty, I know where it all went wrong," and "You heard the rumors from Inez, you can't believe a word she says." Another line goes, "She said, 'James, get in, let's drive.'"

This isn't the first time that Taylor Swift paid tribute to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's children. The name "James" is, also, featured in the lyrics of her song "Gorgeous," which was released back in 2017. However, it looks like Betty is the one who get the honor of having an entire song named after her.

Taylor Swift's new album Folklore was released on July 24.
