A new set of information about the upcoming apple events was recently leaked online. These said events and dates would reportedly serve as platforms where the Cupertino-based tech juggernaut would launch its products. With the anticipated iPhone 12 launch fast-approaching, more information about the flagship iPhone and other Apple products are making rounds online.

Upcoming Apple Events

The latest details about the forthcoming Apple events are courtesy of Front Page Tech's Jon Prosser. The reliable industry insider shared on his Twitter account some information about the company's plans for the succeeding months. According to him, Apple would launch the new Apple Watch and iPad on September 7, 2020.

The industry insider claimed that the debut of the Apple Watch and new iPad would take place on week 37. Prosser also said that the Cupertino tech giant would hold the iPhone 12 event on week 42 or specifically on October 12. He did not reveal more details about the said event but claimed that the pre-orders of this year's flagship iPhone would commence on week 42 or on October 12.

The industry insider also mentioned on his tweet that Apple would begin shipping the iPhone models on week 43 or on October 19, 2020. Interestingly, it appears that this date is for the more affordable iPhone 12 models. Prosser said that the pre-order and shipment or release of iPhone 12 Pro devices might happen in November. However, he said that this is the only date he has at the moment since there is no exact date yet concerning the iPhone 12 Pro models.

Based on Prosser's information, Apple could hold an event on October 13 for the iPhone 12 and start accepting pre-orders for the lower-cost iPhone 12 models on October 16. The delivery of these iPhone 12 models could kick off on October 23.

Other Details

Earlier rumors suggested that Apple could have a staggered release of the iPhone 12 models. This claim seemingly aligns with what Prosser is indicating in his latest tip. It is interesting to note that Prosser said that Apple would launch the Apple Watch Series 6 and a new iPad through a press release in the week starting September 7.

If this happens, this would be the first time that Apple would introduce its smart wearable first ahead of the flagship iPhone. It could also be the first time that Apple Watch would have it sown event since it has been traditionally debuting alongside the flagship iPhone series.
