Arthur Chatto, 21, the grandson of Princess Margaret, successfully finished 38 days of rowing at sea for charity and returned to London on Sunday, Aug. 16, with more than $28,000 (£21,500) funds raised.

The grand-nephew of Queen Elizabeth joined the GB Row Challenge with three of his friends -- Charles Bromhead, Harry Lidgley and Oliver Dawe-Lane -- on July 8. The group pledged the money they've raised to the British Red Cross, which still needs funding for their pandemic crisis efforts.

This has been the first rowing challenge for Chatto, the 26th in line to the British throne. According to Tatler, he was training for six months before embarking on the 2,000-mile journey at sea with his pals.

Chatto and his friends, who dubbed their group the Exe endurow, were permitted to row amid the public health crisis because they, apparently, live in the same house. The Exe endurow originally joined this challenge to help the charity, Just One Ocean. However, the group decided to also help out the Red Cross as inspired by the frontliners.

Upon their return to the docks, Chatto was met by his mother, Lady Sarah, father Daniel Chatto, and his 24-year-old brother, Samuel. His girlfriend Lizzie Friend was, also, present to celebrate his huge achievement.

Lady Sarah's second son is taking up Geography at the University of Edinburgh. He doesn't have a royal title but he is close to the senior members of the family. Arthur shared a photo from Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018 on his Instagram, where he has nearly 200,000 followers.

He is the only royal family member who has publicly admitted to watching The Crown, amid various overheard reports that the Queen or the Wessexes like the series. Arthur told the Telegraph in January that he has seen the Netflix drama and said it's only an "interpretation" of his family. He said that he doesn't let the TV persona affect his perception of this relatives in real life.

Queen Elizabeth's grand-nephew might be more popular because of his family but he is slowly gaining a following on the internet because of his Instagram posts. The young royal shares snaps from his everyday life, including a couple of shirtless videos and photos of his rigid workout.

In his younger years, Arthur, also, studied in Eton like his cousins Prince William and Harry. He joined the school's Combined Cadet Force to learn military skills, which was the same path Prince Harry took before he served the Armed Forces.
