J-Hope is not the official visual of BTS, but he is slowly claiming that spot. The BTS rapper had been snatching locals during the teasers and music videos of the group’s latest hit, “Dynamite,” and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

Despite his gorgeous face, many have called J-Hope “ugly." The “Ego” rapper doesn’t fit the “flower boy” look that is very popular in the K-pop world, which is why he’s considered to be unattractive to some people.

But even J-Hope’s critics would agree that he has one of the best profiles in the industry. The BTS star is also aware of this, which is why he usually angles his face to the side when taking pictures and videos.

BANGTAN TV just uploaded its latest “Sing ‘Dynamite’ With Me” series on YouTube, and it featured J-Hope. Just like the other boys, the “Chicken Noodle Soup” hitmaker also lip-synched the full song using his phone and a monopod.

While J-Hope was singing along to “Dynamite,” he would change the angles of the phone to make things a little more fun. That’s when ARMYs realized that the BTS star doesn’t only have a perfect profile, but he’s attractive from every angle.

“This video is just J-Hope looking handsome in every angle,” one wrote. “Hoseok successfully proved for three minutes and nineteen seconds that he’s handsome in every angle,” another one commented.

Meanwhile, when BTS released the first set of teaser images for their comeback single, “Dynamite,” on August 10, J-Hope reminded the whole fandom that he deserves to be the group’s visual. In fact, even non-ARMYs are falling for him, earning him the new title “Guy in the black shirt.”

It was definitely not the first time J-Hope has snatched the hearts of locals. When the BTS boys were guest stars in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke back in February, many were smitten by the rapper. Many took to social media to ask ARMYs for his name.

In January, J-Hope also earned the title “the guy in the red jacket” after their Grammys 2020 performance. But, even before that, J-Hope was already trending on Twitter when he wore a see-through shirt underneath his layered ensemble.

But, J-Hope snatching local hearts had been going on for quite a while. After BTS performed “Mic Drop” and “DNA” on Dick Clark's New Years Rockin’ Eve in 2018, the hashtags #TheOneWithTheRedHair, #GuyWithTheRedHairBTS, and #TheGuyWithTheGoldenJacket quickly trended as locals wanted to know his name and some even said that they'll check him out.
