The upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 300 Ampere series was accidentally listed by a computer hardware manufacturer, according to a new report. The listing is viewed by some tech enthusiasts as a misstep but it delights several others. The upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 Ampere series is anticipated to debut on September 1.

A recent report released by Tom's Hardware cited a couple of tweets as the first to spot the listing made by Zotac. Industry insider with the Twitter handle momomo_us provided eight alleged renders of the upcoming graphics cards, including the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. The leak seemingly aligns with previous claims that the upcoming GPU lineup would not feature any Super or Ti variants at launch.

It also backed an earlier report from Videocardz that revealed the same lineup and offered the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series' specs. It looks like the high-end RTX 3090 would feature 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and 5,248 cores with a 350W total graphics power requirement. Both the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090 models would reportedly feature three cards each.

These are the Trinity, Trinity Holo, and AMP Extreme. The difference between these cards is the performance with the higher-tier AMP Extreme model, most probably sporting higher clock speed and binned silicon.

Meanwhile, the lower-tier Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 would reportedly feature a couple of variants. These are the Twin Edge and the Twin Edge Holo. The names of the alleged cards suggest that they are most likely sporting a dual-fan cooling setup.

Another tweet from a tipster with the Twitter handle sfdxpro showcased the alleged renders of the new 3090 Zotac card. The leak reveals the card with a triple-fan cooling setup and three PCI slot designs. An earlier leak revealed its massive size when compared side by side with the current generation RTX 2080.

Nvidia engineers reportedly confirmed the new 12-pin PCIe connector deisgn in the upcoming graphics card lineup last week. Interestingly, the company's event is just a few days away and it is only a matter of time that we finally get to see the official specs of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 Ampere series.
