A massive leak revealing interesting details about the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX series recently surfaced online. The leak shows images of the alleged Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090. It also reveals the prices of the remaining variants of the RTX 3000 lineup.

Cloud Security Researcher and industry insider with the Twitter handle GarnetSunset shared images of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition and Nvidia RTX 2080Ti Founders Edition. Based on the images, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition is bigger than the RTX 2080Ti Founders Edition. It also appears like the forthcoming graphics card features three slots or three fingers on the bracket.

The earlier rumored PCD and heatsink are also visible in the leaked image of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition. It also underlines that the position of the fan would be one in front and one at the back. Compared to the previous leak, the size and design of the fan have changed.

The color of the graphics card is also different from the previously leaked image. This time, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 appears in full black color. Meanwhile, the backplate of the rumored graphics card bears a text, but it is not visibly apparent. It might be RTX 3090.

The Titan of the Ampere generation, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, uses the cooling shroud. Back in June, a leaked image already revealed this feature. Based on the images, it seems that the upcoming graphics card is approximately 310mm long.

The industry insider noted that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 would retail at $1400. However, this is not the official price yet. Nvidia has a habit of changing the prices of its products at the eleventh hour. Aside from this, the tipster also revealed the prices of the other models releasing under the RTX 3000 series.

This includes the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, which according to the tipster, would retail at $400. He also shared that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 would sell at $600. Meanwhile, the heavily rumored Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 would reportedly retail at $800.

The upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series is anticipated to be produced on the 8nm node of Samsung. In terms of energy efficiency, it would be sub-par than the 7nm node of TSMC utilized in AMD Navi 21 high-end GPUs. AMD is reportedly preparing to debut a more energy-efficient mid-range Navi 22 GPU to take the place of the RX 5700 XT series in the later part of 2020. This series could potentially challenge the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series.
