One of the most anticipated events in the tech industry this year is the arrival of the ARM-based MacBook Pro. With the new processor, the premium laptop from the Cupertino-based tech company is also expected to ship interesting new features. If the latest leak is to go by, it looks like the upcoming ARM-based MacBook Pro would also come with a second-generation Touch Bar.

Latest ARM-based MacBook Pro Rumor

Reliable industry insider Komiya shared on his Twitter account interesting information about Apple's ARM-based MacBook Pro. As reported by Wccftech, the tipster reportedly believed that the next-generation MacBook Pro with ARM chips would feature Apple's second-generation Touch Bar. Aside from this, the tipster noted that there is a chance the company would introduce Face ID to the portable Mac to add an extra layer of convenience to users when accessing and locking their machines.

Sadly, the insider did not go into details about the second-generation Touch Bar on the upcoming ARM-based MacBook Pro. Wccftech speculated that Apple might increase the Touch Bar's width to provide more screen options to users. Apple already introduced the Face ID to the iPhone X and to the 2018 iPad Pro, and its just a matter of time for the feature to find its way to the upcoming ARM-based MacBook Pro. A14X Bionic Chip Youtuber Luke Miami recently shared a new set of exciting data revealing the A14X Bionic chip's performance. The YouTuber provided the performance of the next-generation chipset through a tweet. The A14X Bionic chip's past performance metrics show that it could be almost par with the Intel Core i9-9880H CPU's performance.

This particular eight-core processor from Intel is present in the most powerful notebook computers, including the 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, with great power, this CPU requires a substantial cooling level to keep the machine in check. The leaked performance data also reveals that the A14 Bionic rumored to be on the iPhone 12 series would be only a 'hairline slower' than the A12X Bionic.
