BTS just accomplished something the group has been aiming for but could have never imagined coming true. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook's new song "Dynamite" sold 265,000 digital copies in its first week - making it their first song to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's "Hot 100" chart.

On Sept. 2, BTS held a news conference to discuss their Billboard win, the group's latest disco-inspired summer bop, future plans and more. When asked to send a message to himself from 2013, J-Hope took it as an opportunity to pour his heart out, not only to his young self but to the rest of the boys as well.

J-Hope acknowledged his personal and the group's struggles during their rookie days. He said that they worked hard for their names to be known by the public and to "stay alive until the end."

The "Ego" rapper then shared that he is "very happy and proud" of their milestones and accomplishments. J-Hope noted that they are honored and always thankful that they were given the chance to achieve their goals.

Since the brief was to give a message to themselves seven years ago, J-Hope told his 19-year-old self that he worked hard and that his efforts would not betray him. Because in the end, his efforts "bore fruit."

But J-Hope didn't end his message there, he also made one for his members. The BTS rapper shared that RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook are really precious to him and that they have become a major reason for his life and existence. He also proposed for them to be a part of his life forever.

"And I want to say thank you to the members for being with me for seven years, and to ask them to be with us, be together, be with me for the rest of my life. To take this opportunity to say, I love you, to all the members," he said.

After J-Hope said his heartfelt message, Jimin and Jungkook quickly said they love him. As for V, he was clearly getting emotional behind JH. The "Sweet Night" singer was struggling to hold back his tears and he admitted to crying when it was his turn to speak up.

"A while ago, when Hoseok (J-Hope's real name) was speaking, I was really touched. I cried a little bit. I was really surprised. What is this? This is such a happy day, why am I crying?," V siad. (Watch the clip here).
