ARMYs have always been extremely supportive of the BTS members and would do everything to make RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook happy. In fact, despite the fans’ constant complain of being broke, they sell out the group’s tours, albums, endorsements, and more.

So, when Jungkook wished for something in 2018, ARMYs made sure to make it a reality — and it did. The best part of all is that the fans, perfectly, presented it on his birthday.

During a MAMA 2018 interview clip, Jungkook expressed that he wished BTS could hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Two years later, ARMYs made it possible.

BTS released its disco-inspired summer bop “Dynamite” on August 21, and it broke records. Jimin noted during their live broadcast that they were not thinking about numbers when making the new song, and they just wanted to make ARMYs happy during the pandemic. However, fans have a different idea.

Instead of just simply enjoying BTS’s “Dynamite,” ARMYs are setting goals to make it a huge hit. And on the wee hours of September 1, Jungkook’s 23rd birthday (24th in Korea), it was announced that the group won its first number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart!

RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V were clearly waiting for the result as they quickly took to social media after the announcement. The boys stayed up late to thank ARMYs for making this win possible for them.

J-Hope posted his birthday greeting to Jungkook on Twitter and congratulated ARMYs as well for the win. Jimin responded to his post and said that he couldn’t stop crying. JH shared that he was still crying as well.

RM took to Weverse to share a snap of the result, saying that it was a great birthday gift for Jungkook. Jin also had a similar post, saying that their Golden Maknae received a great gift.

Suga was obviously speechless as he only posted a lot of crying symbols. And V was completely in disbelief as he asked everyone if the moment is real.

As for the birthday boy, he has yet to post an update on BTS' accounts. Jungkook is the least member of BTS who uses social media. But even though he is not as active as the other boys, ARMYs are still hoping to see a glimpse of him on his special day. If he will not post anything, fans are still contented and happy to give him the gift that he wished for two years ago.
