Goo Hye Sun's recent album release received negative feedback from netizens.
According to a report by All Kpop, the actress, recently, released her new age piano album entitled Breath 3 that carried 10 tracks. The title song was called "For the New Lover."
The album has received a lot of hate on the music portals from netizens who have not moved on from the actress' public divorce drama with ex-husband, Ahn Jae Hyun.
They left scathing comments on music review sites that had nothing to do with the album. Some of the comments sympathized with Ah Jae Hyun, whose career and image was damaged by Goo Hye Sun's allegations of abandonment and infidelity at the height of their marital issues.
Some of the netizens poked fun at the title of the actress' album and said that they wished her ex-husband could, also, take a breath.
Meanwhile, some fans took her side and defended her against the negative comments, sparking an all-out online debate.
Some netizens said that the people who don't like her should just ignore her instead of making efforts to humiliate her. Some criticized Ahn Jae Hyun too and said that he was not faultless in the breakdown of their marriage.
It can be recalled that last year, Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun became the subject of scandal when Goo Hye Sun posted allegations against her former husband on her social media account.
As a result, Ahn Jae Hyun lost endorsement deals and suffered from a bad reputation leading up to the release of his last drama, People with Flaws.
By the time the former couple lawyered up, they have hurled countless allegations against each other, leading both of their images to be tarnished. Dispatch even released the full chat log of their conversations documenting the demise of their relationship.
The couple, finally, got divorced last July after settlement negotiations. Contrary to the verbal battle that took place for months where the two parties traded barbs, the outcome was generally peaceful, Koreaboo reported.
According to the couple's lawyers, Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun decided to cheer each other's futures as they officially parted ways. They refused to reveal the details of the settlement agreement.
Goo Hye Sun is expected to serve as a judge in the upcoming Bucheon International Animation Festival 2020.
Ahn Jae Hyun is, currently, waiting for his next project after his divorce.
