The Apple Watch Series 6 will not launch this month according to a reliable industry insider. A few days ago, several reports surfaced online claiming that this year's flagship smart wearable from Apple would debut sometime in September. The Cupertino company is still mum about the launch of Apple Watch Series 6.

The latest information about the Apple Watch Series 6 came from a reliable industry insider Lovetodream. On Twitter, the insider shared that Apple would not launch the much-awaited Apple Watch this month. The tipster's information contrasts with earlier speculations about the debut of Apple Watch Series 6.

If the insider's claim is accurate, it lends credence to an earlier report shared by the Japanese blog Macotakara. Based on the site, Apple is planning to debut the Apple Watch Series 6 alongside the iPhone 12 series. The site also claimed that the unveiling would be held at an Apple event happening in the second half of October. Unlike other insiders, Lovetodream earned his reputation because of his accurate details.

The insider previously leaked about multiple Apple hardware and software. He also leaked details about the iPhone SE and the iPad Pro models. Lovetodream also leaked the marketing name of macOS Big Sur, the handwriting to text feature in iPadOS14, and the handwashing feature in watchOS 7, among others.

Rumors about the launch of the flagship Apple Watch surfaced a few days ago when multiple models of Apple Watch and iPad were discovered listed in the EEC database. While there is nothing on the listing that directly states that these products are launching, an EEC certification is a requirement for products before it is released in various regions under the scope of EEC. Meanwhile, Front Page Tech and reliable industry insider Jon Prosser claimed earlier that the new Apple Watch and iPad models would be launched through a press release in the week commencing September 7.

On Tuesday, Bloomberg reported that Apple is planning to release the rumored low-cost Apple Watch SE alongside Apple Watch Series 6. Both smart wearables would reportedly arrive sometime in the Fall of 2020. Whispers online claimed that Apple is launching the more affordable Apple Watch SE to be the partner of the low-cost iPhone SE just as the Apple Watch Series 6 is marketed as the partner of the iPhone 12 lineup.

Apart from these, Apple is also anticipated to announce a smaller HomePod, the next iteration of the iPad Air, and the new over-ear headphones this year. Interestingly, while these details are exciting, they are not official. Take this information with a pinch of salt.
