Luis Suarez is on the bring of moving to a new club but needs to iron out things with FC Barcelona. Juventus has reportedly come to terms with the Uruguayan player but his current deal with the Catalan giants needs addressing.

Goeba has come to terms with Suarez on a three-year deal said to be worth $12 million per season, Goal reported. However, some things need to be settled before Suarez can see action at Allianz Arena.

On the part of the 33-year-old footballer, he needs to secure an Italian passport. He needs to undergo a language exam to do this but there is more to cover. The most important of them all is settling his release at Camp Nou.

Suarez has a year left in his deal with the Catalan giants, one that is worth roughly $17 million. The easiest way to address it is for Barca to pay out the remainder of Suarez’s contract. But given the current financial turmoil that Barcelona and other clubs are going through right now, seeing that happen is close to impossible.

The good news is that Suarez is ready to sit down and negotiate with Barca management. With a new deal already in place, all the Uruguayan wants right now is to secure a smooth release. Juventus is trying to help out but it all boils down to what Suarez and Barca management agree on.

It will be recalled that Suarez ended up looking for a new team when new manager Ronald Koeman came on board. Koeman told Suarez that he was not part of the club’s plans with Barca undergoing a major overhaul.

There were suggestions that Suarez could make a u-turn following the surprise decision of Lionel Messi to continue playing at Camp Nou. Unfortunately, that was not the case and Suarez found a willing taker in Juventus.

Though it may only be a matter of time before Suarez secures everything, Andre Pirlo still needs to fill in other spots. With Gonzalo Higuain choosing to terminate his deal a year before it expires, Pirlo needs to find a forward to fill up the void.

"I talked to Higuain. He is a person I admire very much. He had an important cycle here, he was a great player but in speaking with him we decided our roads must separate," said Pirlo in a report from Goal.

As for Barca, Koeman has his eyes on Lautaro Martinez and Memphis Decay. They are being groomed to take the place of Suarez.
