The Boys season 2 drops its first three episodes on Amazon Prime Video and we've learned more about Stormfront (Aya Cash). She is the newest member of The Seven and she's not just a typical adversary. She is physically powerful, but her greatest strength is that she could influence other people.
Stormfront knows a lot about technology. She is smart, savvy, and can get whatever she wants by using her social media knowledge. But then, she is evil and filled with hatred. Her villainous side has been shown in the previous episode of The Boys season 2.
Stormfront might be the dangerous members of The Seven so far. She could end up leading the regime filled with people who are violent, racist, and willing do to whatever she wants. She is a huge threat, even for The Seven leader, Homelander (Anthony Starr).
Speaking to TV Guide, Starr discussed what else is coming for Homelander and Stormfront as the story progresses. He explained that the major problem of his character is that the latter isn't playing his game. She is playing a game that's completely different to him and he doesn't know how it works.
Starr said that this is a huge problem for Homelander, who often sets the terms of engagement. But then, Stormfront immediately puts him on the spot. The actor noted that his character isn't used to dealing with this kind of person, someone who doesn't respect and fear him.
Meanwhile, the next episode of The Boys season 2 will address Homelander's position within The Seven. He is used to be leading the team in every mission and enjoyed a lot of publicity over the past years. However, Stormfront suddenly showed up and stole the spotlight from him.
Now, she is enjoying the attention of a lot of people and the media, which was usually reserved for Homelander. Because of this, a potential rivalry might develop between them. Their dynamics will be fleshed out and it remains to be seen whether they'll end up being friends or foe.
There is a possibility the two will become mortal enemies and will try to kill each other. Yet, their relationship might evolve and they'll end up working together. Even though Homelander doesn't agree with all of Stormfront's opinion, he still values control.
