Melania Trump has again angered many netizens because of her revamping of the Rose Garden at the White House. Following the makeover, the garden is having repairs just three weeks after its "unveiling."

A source told CNN that the renovated garden was experiencing "issues" with drainage. It also had a few "minor complications" over construction. Moreover, the repairs included resodding.

A White House representative assured taxpayers they wouldn't have to shoulder the costs of repairs. The Trump campaign will pay.

Despite the reassurance netizens took their thoughts to social media and slammed Melania Trump. The Daily Express reported many called her and her husband out for the unnecessary costs at a time when the U.S. faces challenging times.

One critic said everything the first family touches turns to "sh*t." Others agreed and said the "issues" of the first lady's rose garden seemingly mirrored Donald Trump's presidency. Another netizen echoed the criticisms adding that the Trumps "turned" the garden into an undrained swamp.

Melania Trump first announced her plans to renovate the White House's Rose Garden in July. She said that she would "oversee" the whole process as she intended to "restore" it to its original design.

CNN said former U.S. President John F. Kennedy established the original garden which his wife planned in the early 1960s. Horticulturist Rachel "Bunny" Mellon built the garden in 1962.

Melania Trump included in her announcement that the whole renovation involved "hope in the possibility of a bright future." She also said this was a way to preserve the history and beauty of the White House - emphasizing that it was a "testament" to the country's commitment to "American ideals."

Melania Trump unveiled the newly renovated Rose Garden in August - just in time for the Republican National Convention. Reports said that the first lady delivered her RNC speech at the venue in front of 75 guests.

Following the event, it became evident the garden was "too muddy" to host an audience because it lacked drainage. As a result, they decided to put a "turf lawn" over the grass.

Alongside the renovated Rose Garden, the Trump campaign will also pay for repairs to the South Lawn. Several publications reported that the area incurred damage following RNC events in August.
