Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will revisit the terms of their exit next year. While the talks about their return to the royal fold have continued to develop, royal experts and commentators claimed that this would not blow them off course.
Writing for The Spectator, Peter Hunt shared his thoughts about the couple's newfound freedom in the United States. He said that royal officials cannot do anything but "watch from the sidelines" as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to move forward with their new life, according to the Daily Express. Palace aides, as well as courtiers, and even the Queen, could only do little to "sway" the couple.
The royal expert explained that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already found their "significant platform" outside the British Monarchy. Moreover, they now have "serious money" following the "massive" deal they signed with Netflix.
Alongside these factors, the Sussex couple has already established a "global audience," who now find their new life more "intriguing." Hunt, then, added that the royal official could no longer rule out anything, adding that the Duchess might even enter the next presidential race in the United States.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have seemingly increased their engagements and outings these past few weeks. As the lockdown measures continue to ease across the country, reports have since followed them and their appearances, both personal and virtual.
While they continue to move forward with their new lives, Peter Hunt wished the Duke of Sussex "a lot of luck." He claimed that the royal-born Prince would need it.
The publication, later on, recalled that controversies have continued to follow the Sussex couple. The most recent one was when they appeared for the Time 100 as they shockingly discussed the upcoming presidential election in the United States.
The Sunday Times reported after that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have since created "discontent" within the walls of Buckingham Palace. Sources said that they "violated" their commitment to Queen Elizabeth as they previously pledged to uphold her values.
Amid the debacle, many royal experts and watchers urged the British Monarch to strip them off of their Sussex titles. But, experts argued that the British Monarchy and family could not do it to the youngest Wales Prince as he is "royal-born."
Meanwhile, the former actress became an official royal because of her marriage. Because of this, they will, reportedly, forever be a Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom.
