Kate Middleton and Prince William are, undeniably, among of the most admired couples across the globe. Since their first public appearance as a couple, many already adored them. This is why their fans and supporters have continued to increase over the years.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary in April. Despite being together for almost two decades, their body languages and gestures seemingly tell a different story.
A body language expert told the Daily Express that their recent movements toward each other are "not common." Judi James deemed it "unusual," especially for couples who are married for so long already.
She continued that Kate Middleton and Prince William always show "subtle signs of affection," especially these past few months. They appear even more "openly romantic" together, which is not very common among married couples of more than ten years.
James referenced a few instances when the Cambridge couple manifested these "subtle" gestures. She said that the future King always tends to keep his wife close to him.
He, also, "guides" her gently as if he is "showing off" and touting his wife before the public. Moreover, the royal-born Prince's hand gestures, reportedly, manifests a "sense of pride," as well as "admiration" for the future Queen Consort.
As for Kate Middleton, her body language expresses "genuine happiness," noting that she enjoys that her husband is at her side. She finds "congruent pleasure" in the Duke of Cambridge's company as what her "excited eyes" and "wide smiles" suggest. Judi James, later on, asserted that their facial expressions, alongside their "mutual attention rituals," shows that they are "romantic royals."
In marking their ninth wedding anniversary, Hello! magazine revisited Kate Middleton and Prince William's love story, which started at the University of St Andrews in 2001. But, it was not until a year later when they dated each other.
The relationship did not go public until 2004 when a photo of them on a ski break surfaced. Reports said that this confirmed the royal-born Prince's "first-ever serious relationship."
While sources said that they took a break twice, they patched things up in 2008. Following the reconciliation, royal fans and supporters, reportedly, started to speculate about a royal wedding between them.
Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton in 2010 and tied the knot in 2011. Upon marriage, they officially received their titles from Queen Elizabeth, and has since become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
