Victor Oladipo could be one of the big names this offseason with reports that the 28-year-old exploring all options. The 6-foot-4 guard has two teams inked to him so far, the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks. Considering he may end up playing Malcolm Brogdon and TJ Warren, it may be in his best interest to find a team that could put him to good use.

With the Celtics, Oladipo could be part of a package for Hayward. It would be a homecoming for the 30-year-old NBA All-Star who could fill in a key void at forward for the Pacers. Though the last years have been marred by injuries, Hayward could start fresh with the Pacers if the deal falls through, The Athletic reported.

But for Oladipo, who struggled last season due to injuries as well, a move to Bean Town may not make sense. That is unless the Celtics undergo a revamp. Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart are the top guards right now under Brad Stevens but team president Danny Ainge could still consider getting him.

However, Oladipo may find himself leaving the Pacers but left with the same situation. Unless he recalls his old form, the two-time All-Star could end up still being the third option for the Celtics. This is assuming that Boston has no plans to deal away some players like Smart. Most know that 26-year-old has not been spared from trade rumors. With the Celtics falling short yet again, Smart could be a player the Celtics may try to deal away.

The other option for Oladipo is not as promising as well if he is looking to join a winning club. The Knicks could be the place to be if the second overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft wants to be the top dog. But joining a rebuilding squad, he will need to lower expectations. Though Tom Thibodeau is trying to whip up the team into shape, that may not happen this 2020-21 season. The best Oladipo can look forward to is an improved showing come the 2021-22 season.

Of course, the Pacers are still waiting on what Oladipo plans to do. But general manager Kevin Pritchard made it clear that they won’t stand in his way. It will entirely be Oladipo’s decision to make, The Indy Star reported.

"...It will be up to him. He will have the choice. It's his first time to have autonomous choice. He can go and do whatever he wants."
