Paul George failed to deliver as expected for the Los Angeles Clippers last season. The six-time All-Star was limited to a measly 10 points in a losing game that saw hi team getting booted out by the Denver Nuggets from the playoffs. PG could be in the trading block this offseason and the Boston Celtics will get a boost signing him.

That's according to Andrew Hughes of Fansided, who is predicting that the Clippers' game plan for next season is to chiefly get a new point guard, which should indicate George has been listed as expendable. For Boston to start talking with Los Angeles, Kemba Walker must be offered on the table.

Trading Walker is seen by Hughes as beneficial for the Celtics over the long-term.

"Shedding the final three years of Kemba Walker may be a prudent move given his recent injury history," Fadeaway World quoted the journalist as saying.

Hughes added that once Walker is out of the way, Boston can start working on a quick roster upgrade that is attuned to the scenario of PG already part of the roster. George starring with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will lead to the creation of a wing trio in Boston, which potentially could be one of the best that the league will see.

The proposed trave move could prove as the one kick that the Celtics need to get a shot at the NBA title. It should be recalled that it was nearly a Celtics vs. Lakers in last NBA Finals but Boston can make this happen next season with a lineup that includes George.

Now gambling on PG makes sense despite the perception that he was generally letdown with the Clippers even while playing in tandem with Kawhi Leonard. According to Clutch Points, George struggled last season but he is out to prove his worth when the next campaign kicks off.

It will be "a vengeance tour" for PG next season, the report added, citing the analysis shared by Zach Lowe of ESPN. Whether will stick with Los Angeles or he'd find his way to a new team, Lowe predicted that the star is coming back strong next season.

Lowe expecting George to play big when the NBA returns in December is not without basis. The 30-year-old is a proven top performer. The Clippers actually gained an advantage with the way PG played last season and the NBA saw that for the most part, the star did make an impact.

As proof of his excellence, George finished the regular season high on the list of the best players in the league. The NBA awarded the MVP to Giannis Antetokounmpo and one of the four players behind the Milwaukee Bucks superstar was named Paul George.

George leading the Celtics to another NBA championship next season is not impossible at all and that's because he remains part of the league's top-performing players.
