BLACKPINK just had an epic comeback with “Lovesick Girls.” To promote this era, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa appeared on the popular Korean variety show Running Man.
The YG Entertainment girl group did a lot of fun activities during their appearance on the show. One particular activity seemed to be simple, but it revealed a lot about Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa.
The Running Man cast and BLACKPINK members wore cat ears that move when it detects that the person wearing it is lying because of their sudden change of emotions. To convince everyone that they are telling the truth, they should stay calm and collected while answering some hard questions.
When it was Jennie’s turn, she had a had time keeping the cat ears stay still as Jisoo and Kwangsoo kept asking her a lot of questions at once. When asked if who among the BLACKPINK members has the messiest room, the 24-year-old singer and rapper answered Lisa, who immediately laughed at her group mate’s reply.
Jisoo asked Jennie if the reason why she didn’t run earlier in the day is because she didn’t want to do it. The BLACKPINK star’s cat ears confirmed that she was too lazy to run as they moved and shook after answering the question.
Since the goal was to make the person fluster, Kwangsoo decided to ask a question that Jennie will have a hard time answering. “Is there a guy you’re interested in right now?” he asked.
To Kwangsoo’s surprise, Jennie replied to his inquiry. However, instead of getting flustered with the romance question, the BLACKPINK star decided to return the favor. “Oppa,” she said, referring to the Running Man member himself. (Watch the clip here).
Jennie’s idea worked as Kwangsoo was caught off-guard and got flustered by her reply. In fact, his cat ears kept moving, which proved that his emotions changed after hearing the answer. (Watch the clip here). It seemed like Jennie got what she wanted as she looked very pleased with the outcome.
After getting the taste of his own medicine, Yang Se Chan advised Kwangsoo to never ask that kind of question again. (Watch the clip here). The 35-year-old actor, entertainer, and model clearly didn’t expect Jennie's answer, which made the whole thing even more hilarious.
Unfortunately for Jennie, Kwangsoo seemed to have his eyes on a different BLACKPINK member. When asked who he thinks is the prettiest one in the group, he replied Rose.
