It's no secret that Ray Fisher is currently going up against Warner Bros. as he continues to speak out about the "toxic" environment on the set during the Justice League reshoots. However, the actor has never really offered too many details on the reasons why he has accused director Joss Whedon and other producers of being unprofessional while they were working on the DC Extended Universe flick.

Interestingly, Ray Fisher has finally opened up about his accusations, revealing that Joss Whedon and the producers chose to alter Justice League's storyline in a way that "erased" actors of color in the movie. In addition to that, Fisher stated that Whedon had wanted to change one actor's skin tone in the movie.

In July, Ray Fisher began speaking out about the unprofessional behavior of director Joss Whedon and producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg on the set of the Justice League reshoots. Although these allegations were initially denied, Warner Bros. eventually announced that they would start an investigation on the matter. Since then, things haven't been going well both for Fisher and the studio.

So what exactly happened on the set of the Justice League reshoots? Ray Fisher revealed in a new interview that Joss Whedon reportedly wanted to change a POC actor's skin tone in post-production.

"What set my soul on fire and forced me to speak out about Joss Whedon this summer was my becoming informed that Joss had ordered that the complexion of an actor of color be changed in post-production because he didn't like the color of their skin tone... Man, with everything 2020's been, that was the tipping point for me," Fisher said.

This is truly shocking for fans who initially couldn't believe that Joss Whedon would be capable of such actions. Interestingly, Whedon and Warner Bros. have reached out to Forbes regarding the interview, which has been updated with their comments. For instance, it has been revealed that the decision to reduce the roles or completely remove multiple actors of color was made before Whedon was involved.

Despite the tension between Warner Bros. and Ray Fisher, it looks like fans will still get to see the actor in a DC Extended Universe film next year. It has been confirmed that Fisher is one of the several actors who have been called for reshoots in Zack Snyder's director's cut version of Justice League.

Zack Snyder's Justice League has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on HBO Max in 2021.
