Melania Trump shocked the public when she joined Donald Trump on his campaign trail for the first time. She made a speech on Tuesday night, seemingly slamming the media for not covering the essential efforts that the White House has continued to do.

While the First Lady did not mention Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's name nor her memoir, Melania and Me, her address appears to have centered on the media's preference to listen to the former White House aide. She said that the news always listens to "angry" and "baseless claims" from unknown sources and even from "angry ex-employees."

Following Melania Trump's latest move, her former staff and "friend" hit back with more criticisms later this week, according to The Sun. Stephanie Wolkoff slammed the First Lady, explaining that she had the chance to make her speech more valuable and informative for the benefit of the American public. But, instead, she, reportedly, chose to "bully" her.

The author, who claims to have a close relationship with Melania in the past, spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail and continued that it became a "surprise" to her when Trump's wife mentioned her in the campaign speech. She noted, though, that it was not shocking how the First Lady "plays with the truth."

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, also, "scoffed" at Melania Trump's Be Best campaign. She claimed that the initiative, including the First Lady, has not done anything for children nor anyone amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the end, the former White House aide stated that Trump's wife is "complicit," adding that she is a "hypocrite," who does not care at all. She, then, referenced Melania's controversial fashion piece in 2018 when she wore the infamous "I really don't care" coat.

This was not the first time Melania Trump made remarks about Stephanie Winston Wolkoff and her memoir. Several weeks after Melania and Me's release, the First Lady penned a personal note on the White House's official website. While the piece did not directly specify nor mention Wolkoff's name and book, Trump's wife appears to have taken her focus on them.

She indirectly branded Wolkoff's memoir as a "book of idle gossips." She, also, pointed out that the people responsible for the allegations toward her "hardly knew" her.

The former White House aide immediately clapped back at the First Lady's statements. She argued that it is shocking for Melania Trump to say that they hardly knew each other considering that she was present in some of Trump's life's most important events, like her wedding in 2005.
