The Mandalorian has finally returned and Season 2 didn't waste any time in getting into the action. The premiere episode, which has been given the mysterious title "Chapter 9: The Marshal" was packed with action sequences right from the start and it even concluded with an amazing revelation of the fate of a certain Star Wars character who was initially believed to be dead.

Be Warned: The following article contains spoilers from The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1. Turn back now if you haven't seen "Chapter 9: The Marshal" yet.

The first episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 opens with Din Djarin meeting with a criminal Gor Koresh in a ring fight as he tries to find other Mandalorians. After the meeting turns hostile as Koresh and his accomplices try to steal Djarin's Beskar steel armor, Mando manages to get some information from the criminal about a lone Mandalorian operating on Tatooine.

With all the information he needs, Djarin brings Baby Yoda with him back to Tatooine and leave The Child in the care of the mechanic Peli Motto as he tries to find the other Mandalorian. It doesn't take long before Djarin finds the man but he also realizes that the Marshal wearing the armor is not a Mandalorian at all. Instead, the man named Cobb Vanth only managed to get the armor from Jawas and decided to wear it as a way to maintain the peace in Mos Pelgo.

Djarin states that a non-Mandalorian wearing their armor is forbidden and cuts a deal with Cobb Vanth to return the armor in exchange for Djarin helping him rid of the Krayt Dragon terrorizing the city. After enlisting the help of Tusken Raiders, they manage to trick the beast into eating an explosives-ridden Bantha which leads to its belly exploding.

In the end, Cobb Vanth returns the armor to Djarin, and the Mandalorian leaves Tatooine once again. But before the episode ends, it is revealed that a scarred man who has been watching them all this time was actually Boba Fett.

Boba Fett's return is a welcome one for Star Wars fans who have long insisted that the bounty hunter didn't die when he was accidentally thrown into the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi. Hopefully, this means the character will play a larger role in the next few episodes.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1 is now available for streaming on Disney+. The next episode, which is currently being called "Chapter 10", will premiere on the streaming service on November 6.
