The next Apple event would reportedly launch the three new Macs with Apple Silicon chips, including the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the 13-inch MacBook Air, according to a new report.

Bloomberg reported earlier today that Apple is set to hold an online event titled "One More Thing" on Nov. 10. At this said event, the Cupertino tech giant would launch the new Macs that house Apple's processors. The new Apple Silicon chips replace the Intel processors that Apple has been equipping its Macs since 2006.

Apple would reportedly use the same MacBook form factor on the upcoming devices with little design changes. According to rumors, these new Macs could include the 16.1-inch MacBook Pro, the 13.1-inch MacBook Pro, and the 13.1-inch MacBook Air. According to Macrumors, the Cupertino tech titan is also working on the redesigned 14.1-inch MacBook Pro and 16.1-inch Macbook Pro with mini-LED display technology, but those might launch sometime next year.

Apple tipster Lovetodream shared a cryptic tweet '13 inch X 2.' Since the insider offered no other information, it seems that it aligns with Bloomberg'sreport with the text 13x2 referring to the two 13.1-inch MacBooks. Apple recently launched the 2020 13.1-inch MacBook Air and the 13.1-inch MacBook Pro.

With the arrival of the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air running on Apple Silicon, Wccftech speculated that the current generation MacBooks might be discontinued in favor of its successors. Nothing much is revealed about the upcoming MacBooks' specifications. According to Macrumors, the upcoming devices would feature 5nm chips based on Apple's A14 Bionic chip, currently found on iPhone 12 models.

This could introduce more performance improvements apart from the earlier anticipated power efficiency. The Cupertino tech juggernaut intends to transition the full lineup of Mac to Apple Silicon, but the entire process could take a couple of years. For now, it is looking like consumers would be seeing the new 13.1-inch MacBook Pro, the 16.1-inch MacBook Pro, and the 13.1-inch MacBook Air with Apple Silicon this Fall.

Meanwhile, the iMac Pro and Mac Pro along with the iMac and the 16-inch MacBook Pro models would transition to Apple Silicon in 2022. The ARM Mac Mini is expected to arrive in 2021 or in 2022. With the Apple event just a few days away, the industry would hear more details about this Apple Silicon transition that the company is planning. For now, take this information with a pinch of salt.
