Jake Paul made a name for himself through YouTube, mainly for his daring stunts and wanting to take it to the extreme. However, he took it to another level when he proved to everyone that he can also do well in the ring. Proof of that was his first-round win over another YouTube personality, AnEsonGib.

Paul is set to prove that this fight was no fluke. He will be facing Nate Robinson next in one of the undercards for the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. event happening on Nov. 28. Though most feel that this has some scripted parts, the reality is that both will come to blows on that day, meaning it is a legit fight.

The 23-year-old appears to be at an all-time high right now and is ready to take on anyone. AnEsonGib and Robinson are not known mixed martial arts fighters or boxers, probably a reason why most are still not sold on Paul being a legitimate fighter. To prove he is, Paul is now aiming for actual mixed martial arts fighters. That list includes Ben Askren, Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor.

“I want to prove to people that I’m a legitimate boxer, a legitimate professional boxer with skill and someone that people should be scared of,” he said via TalkSport. “I have knockout power, I’m dangerous, and to me, that’s super important and again. That’s just going to take multiple fights to prove that.”

For some, Paul may have bitten off more than he can chew. Most know that the advantage will be on the established names he mentioned. Some may call it a publicity stunt, perhaps a way for Paul to gain more popularity. But the question now is will any of those names be even interested in facing the YouTuber sensation? Better yet, will it be sanctioned by any promotion?

It would be best to consider some things. Askren is retired and there are no signs that he will be returning to action anytime soon. Masvidal and McGregor have other things in mind. Both have been linked to legit boxers in what most feel is nothing more than a money-making ploy.

Masvidal has been tied to a possible fight with Canelo Alvarez while most know the story between McGregor and Manny Pacquiao. Looking at those two clashes, the bottom line is revenue generation. Paul has proven he is a fighter. However, the income potential of such a fight may not be that much for now unless he comes up with something impressive on Nov. 28 against Robinson.
