Riot Games has been doing interesting things in its mobile MOBA title "League of Legends: Wild Rift." The gaming studio recently rolled out patch 1.0a that nerfed several champions in the game, including Xin Zhao, Vayne, and Blitzcrank. Moreover, it also started cracking down on VPN usage in the game.
"League of Legends: Wild Rift" Communications Lead Ben Forbes and Gameplay and Balance Lead Jonathan Chao penned the latest notes of patch 1.0a. Apart from some changes on several champions in the game, devs also advised gamers to expect a more 'regular cadence' of balance patches soon. Riot Games earlier said that it would release a major patch every couple of weeks but would drop an emergency patch in between if something is broken or too OP.
The latest "League of Legends: Wild Rift" patch made some changes to Blitzcrank. For the champion's base stats, health and health regen per level have been nerfed, which are now 650 and 0.81, respectively. Blitzcrank Damage is now 200/325/450 from 250/375/500, while its silence duration is not 0.5 seconds.
For Vayne, its movement speed is now down to 325 from 330, while the movement speed bonus of its (Passive) Night Hunter is now 30 at level 1, 20 at level 5, and 30 at level 9. Its Silver Bolts' Damage is now 30/50/70/90 from the previous 50/70/90/110. For Xin Zhao, its attack damage is now down to 64, while its health per level is not 105 from 115.
Additionally, the latest "League of Legends: Wild Rift" patch 1.0a decreased Xin Zhao's armor per level from 4.3 to only 3.9 and Magic Resist from 38 to 30. Its Audacious Charge cast range is now down to 5.5 while its Crescent Guard's (Ult) cooldown is now 100/85/70 seconds from 80/70/60 seconds.

Aside from those, the latest "League of Legends: Wild Rift" patch fixed an issue where bots were discovered overperforming significantly in the game's Practice Mode. In other "League of Legends: Wild Rift" news, Riot Games announced that VPN login across all its games would see some changes.
This change's major impact would be for "Wild Rift" players outside the game's beta region. According to Riot, because of players around the world accessing servers of beta regions through the use of VPN, several problems have been created. The gaming studio mentioned that the game experienced 'unplayable lag spikes' and inconveniences such as language barriers.
