BTS V is not only selling out the merchandise from the shelves. He is also inspiring fans to hope for better days.

According to a report by All Kpop, V recently started the Dream Challenge, which has quickly become a viral trend in Korea and other parts of the world.

Through the challenge, participants are encouraged to draw, write, and share their dreams for the future, particularly the time that the pandemic ends.

The challenge started with an idea when BTS appeared as a guest for a TV show. Given BTS' popularity, the host asked the BTS members to create a challenge that the youth can participate in when the pandemic ends. The question sought to tap into BTS' fame to move the youngsters into action.

Members quickly pointed out to V because he was always full of ideas. Kim Taehyung, as he is known to fans, did not disappoint.

"This is just a personal thought. But because we can't do the things we did in the past because of the virus, imagine when the pandemic is over. What is the thing that you would like to do then?" he asked.

He asked fans to visualize what they want to do the most, write it down, draw it, and find a way to express it.

Because the idea was so good, it was reported that V's idea was adopted by kindergarten schools in Korea where kids are asked to draw their hopes for the future.

Early this year, Kim Taehyung also started a Stay at Home Challenge where he encouraged fans to engage in different fun activities while in the safety of their homes at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, SBS Asia reported.

V is known for his creativity and ideas. He expressed himself through his songs and his projects. In August, he made iTunes history for being the first male soloist to top the iTunes chart in 116 countries for his song "Sweet Night."

It can be recalled that V wrote, produced, and performed the song to support his good friend and fellow Wooga Squad member Park Seo Joon's Itaewon Class.

Inspired by his fellow BTS members, V also announced that he is exploring multiple genres to release a solo mixtape before the end of the year. He, previously, reported that he already wrote eight songs for the album. V teased fans with the album's contents by using several clips on BTS' variety shows, Elite Daily reported.
