Sony's next-generation gaming console is now available worldwide and while it may look like it has just started its life in the gaming industry, it does not mean that there are not great games available for it. There are lots of titles that gamers could choose from ranging from third-party next-generation titles, exclusive launch games and Sony's commitment to backward-compatible gaming. Here is a rundown of the best games players can enjoy on their new PS5.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a standalone expansion that tasks Peter Parker's apprentice to look after New York. Insomniac created the place with holiday cheer, snow and next-generation polish. Apart from cosmetic improvements, Miles Morales possesses more powers than Peter Parker.

Demon's Souls Remake

From Software's first wicked, very challenging yet rewarding series is remade for Sony's PS5. The remake is surprisingly stunning and truly next-generational. It was creatively built from the ground up, which polished the clunky designs that really need updates. "Demon's Souls" Remake features much smoother combat and PvP, making it a must buy.

The Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

The "Ratchet & Clank" series is a PlayStation staple. It features an impressive graphical leap, which is interesting considering that "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart" is already seven years old. The adorable duo takes players through rifts in time and space and into colorful worlds, each loaded with alien life. The game has no release date yet but it is anticipated to arrive in 2021.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft proves in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" that it has not yet given up on the "Assassin's Creed" series. The new installment centers on 9th century England and tells the adventure of the main protagonist Eivor. Valhalla redefines the series's rules and introduces new features like sacking monasteries, uncovering unique gears and abilities, and building settlements. The new PS5 stunningly captures the beautiful ice-capped mountains of Norway and the bending rivers of England.

Ghost of Tsushima

"Ghost of Tsushima" on PS5 delivers Sucker Punch's vision of feudal Japan. Running on the crisp 60 FPS, the game offers thrilling combat made better in the PS5. The next-gen gaming console also improved the game's photo mode that PS4 players have yet to experience. To top it all, a free Legends update starts in a visually striking and challenging raid only available in Sony's new gaming console.

PS5 launched on Nov 12 in the U.S., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Canada. It launched in the U.K. and the rest of the world on Nov 19.
