Manifest season 3 will deliver more mysteries surrounding Flight 828 once it premieres sometime next year on NBC. The massive cliffhanger in the season 2 finale further questions the existence of the passengers. But, beyond the mysteries, more personal stories are coming, as well.

Michaela Stone (Melissa Roxburgh) and Zeke Landon's (Matt Long) relationship will be one of the major parts of Manifest season 3. The two are happily married and now looking for a new place. But while they're enjoying their new life together, more problems are coming for them.

In a recent interview with TVLine, showrunner Jeff Rake discussed how Michaela and Zeke's relationship will progress moving forward. The latter was able to beat his own death date or "expiration date," and was able to start a new life with his bride.

However, Rake made it clear that Zeke's survival comes with more mysteries. Although he surpassed his death date, his situation will raise questions about the fate of Flight 828 passengers, as well as their callings. There's a question of whether or not it is possible for others to beat their expiration dates.

The circumstances behind his survival proved to be another mystery in Manifest season 3. There is a possibility that everything that's happening around them was connected in some ways. This is something that could be explored in the upcoming installment.

In terms of Michaela and Zeke's relationship, Rake previously told the aforementioned outlet that the married life for the two would be a "whole new chapter in their journey." He also teased that the newlyweds will be moving in together with a "third party."

As for other things to expect, Manifest season 3 kicks off with Ben Stone (Josh Dallas) and Saanvi Bahl (Parveen Kaur) making further investigations about Flight 828. They'll examine the tailfin found in Cuba by a boat named Tesoro di San Antonio.

Moreover, a long-lost character will unexpectedly show up and could shake up other characters' lives. As for Jared Vasquez (J.R. Ramirez), he's going to enter a new complicated romantic relationship. New characters are also coming.

The Americans alum Holly Taylor plays Angelina, one of the Flight 828 passengers. Will Peltz recurs as Levi, who could have a connection with Ben's daughter, Olive (Luna Blaise). Warner Miller is set to portray Tarik, Grace Stone's (Athena Karkanis) estranged stepbrother.

Recently, two recurring characters have been added, as well. Mahira Kakkar will be playing Dr. Aria Gupta, who's working to further understand the phenomena surrounding the mysterious flight. Ali Lopez-Sohaili plays Eagan Tehrani, a passenger whose photographic memory could be essential to Ben.

Manifest season 3 is scheduled to premiere in 2021.
