Evangelical leader Pat Robertson said he thought the U.S. Presidential election was history and President-elect Joe Biden would be the next commander in chief, as he urged Donald Trump to just let go his quest to revoke the outcome of the polls, The Guardian reported Tuesday.

On "The 700 Club," the televangelist and former Republican presidential aspirant talked about Trump's unrealistic chances of overturning Biden's victory and suggested the president face the truth.

Robertson also offered some personal rebuke of the incumbent president, describing him as "very erratic" and taking a jab at his fondness for falsehoods.

"You know, with all his talent and ability to raise money and gather large crowds, the president still lives in an alternate reality," Robertson said, adding "you've had your day and now it is time to move on."

The conservative Christian commentator's comments were made after he previously predicted that Trump would emerge as the victor in the 2020 Presidential election -- and then an asteroid would decimate our planet.

While Robertson conceded that Biden was going to be the next U.S. president, he did not sound confident that the president-elect would be in the White House long.

"I think it's all over," Robertson said. "I think the Electoral College has spoken...  I don't think the Supreme Court is going to move in to do anything, and I think we are going to see a President Biden," The Guardian quoted him as saying.

The comments marked a sharp about-face for the televangelist, who was recently very vocal in his backing of Trump's false accusations of rampant voter fraud and declared prior to the polls that God had told him Trump was going to be victorious.

Trump has hinted that he may run again for U.S. President in four years.
