Mike Tyson has yet to name his next opponent but the odds-on favorite is former rival, Evander Holyfield. Most feel this is what lies ahead for “Iron Mike” and “The Real Deal” reveals that discussions are already underway.

There is no doubt that even if both fighters are past their primes, it would be a clash to watch. Holyfield holds the distinction of winning over Tyson in those two fights, including that celebrated ear-biting incident.

That issue has since died down and both are much more civil. But as far as meeting in the ring, regardless if it is a competitive or exhibition fight, both are expected to go all out for a win.

On the part of Holyfield, a fight even at this point should reel in big money. He sees a Tyson vs. Holyfield III generating as much as $200 million if it pushes through per a report.

“I believe if I fought Mike the fight will generate $200 million. It will be the biggest fight there is. That's the honest truth. I think Mike has my message already. It's a decision he has to make now and we both have to be in an agreement,” Holyfield quipped.

With a potential lofty payday ahead, this should further convince Tyson and his camp to consider Holyfield as the former boxing champion’s next opponent. Originally, it was Holyfield that most thought would face “The Baddest Man on the Planet.” Instead, it was Roy Jones Jr. who faced Tyson which ended in a draw.

After seeing the reception in the Legends Only League main event last November, Tyson and company would want nothing more than a better following for its next billing. There is enough back story and intent on the part of Tyson against Holyfield – particularly since the latter owns two wins against Iron Mike.

Assuming that it does get done, expect Holyfield to have something up his sleeve. He likely caught a glimpse of how Tyson handled Jones, figuring out a good technique to keep his clean slate against the hard-hitting former heavyweight champion. And as early as now, he is keeping his strategy under wraps.

"I'm not going to tell anybody what I'm going to do–my strategy I'm planning on using against Mike–I don't want anyone to know. I'm happy if Mike fights me," Holyfield said.

If the fight does get sealed, Holyfield will have to buck the odds. Tyson is a -325 favorite to prevail over “The Real Deal.” Holyfield is a +250 underdog.
