Prince Harry was not present when Joe Biden was sworn in during his inauguration. But, despite this, he made a shocking appearance on that day, and has since caused talks among netizens on social media.

Marie Claire reported that Biden went to the Arlington National Cemetery after the historical event. He was with Kamala Harris, and they both laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Alongside the two American leaders, other political figureheads were, also, present at the venue. These include former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

During the engagement, one of Clinton's staff snapped a photo featuring Biden and Clinton. Jon Davidson posted the material on Twitter with the caption, "It's a new day in America."

Netizens, especially royal fans and followers, immediately noticed that the Duke of Sussex is, also, in the image. There is a "very large photo" of the royal-born Prince in the background, and reports noted that it was taken during his 2013 visit to the cemetery.

The Daily Express covered some of the comments Twitter users left on the post. Some of them expressed their gladness to see the former working royal, alongside Joe Biden, despite not being together in person.

Others even seemingly took pride in seeing Prince Harry being featured in the new U.S. President's photo. One netizen, also, deemed him the "People's Prince."

The same publication said that the Duke of Sussex is a "friend" of the former Vice President and his wife, Jill. They have already met on several accounts, mostly during the Invictus Games.

Joe Biden once joked, as well, about his wife spending more time with the then-working royal in London back in 2014. He pointed out that Jill "spent too much damn time" with him.

The now-First Couple, also, attended the Invictus Games in 2016 and 2017. They met with Prince Harry in Orlando and Toronto, where the event held the games, respectively.

People, later on, added that the royal-born Prince served in the British Army for ten years. After taking two tours of Afghanistan, he initiated the Invictus Games, where the wounded, injured, and sick armed services personnel and veterans get to compete for various sports games and events.

Two years into his marriage to Meghan Markle, they decided to step down as senior royals. They relocated to the United States earlier in 2020, and widely voiced their interest in the election last November.

While they did not endorse nor share their support toward Joe Biden, the public believes that they are for his ticket considering the Duchess of Sussex previously slammed Donald Trump. Reports noted, however, that it was only the former actress who voted in the last election as her British husband is not eligible to vote in the United States.
