All American season 3 episode 4 is bringing another significant story for Spencer James (Daniel Ezra). The injury he sustained in the previous season is affecting his life now -- both physically and professionally. He realized that he might need the help of others in order to get through his current situation.

Self-care is going to be the major theme of the story, with Spencer contemplating what will he do with his injury. He needs to make a decision now as his condition could jeopardize his future in the football world.
In All American season 3 episode 4, Spencer will try to get to the bottom of his problem and some of the issues he's facing at the moment. He followed Layla's (Greta Onieogou) advice to see a therapist and it leads him to a "shocking revelation."
Spencer wants to know the root of everything he's currently going through, and he recognized that seeing a therapist could help him get to these things. This will allow him to have a different perspective and may understand why he's feeling that way.
It remains to be seen what the shocking revelation could be, and whether or not it could further affect his life moving forward. Throughout the early run of the third installment, Spencer has been facing several problems after returning to Crenshaw High School.
Elsewhere in All American season 3 episode 4, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) is concerned about Simone (Geffri Maya) since her behavior is becoming more different. Later on, he learned the reason why she's acting that way and he does whatever he can to be supportive.
As for Asher (Cody Christian), he's still suspended until now. Despite that, he is determined to prove himself -- especially to Montes (Alexandra Barreto). Because of this, he was able to earn his trust and gain a potential place in the team.
Coop (Bre-Z), on the other hand, is doing her own thing and she needs the help of others. She's planning to make a music video and ask the community to help her. There's also a story coming for Layla, wherein she and her dad must face off about Patience (Chelsea Tavares).
In another report, it was confirmed that All American: Homecoming spin-off will get a backdoor pilot at some point in the current installment. Reportedly, the story centers on Simone and new additions will be announced later on.
