Page Six reported that the 35-year-old model suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" on Sunday. She revealed what happened that night on her date with John Legend through a social media post.
In a story she posted on Instagram, Teigen pulled back her jacket while in a restaurant bathroom. She gave her followers a peek at her ripped zipper on the side of her green cocktail dress from The Attico.
The model was able to resolve the mishap, though, as she utilized her oversized blazer. The publication, later on, said that her jacket became "as functional as it was fashionable."
Chrissy Teigen's recent fashion malfunction was not the first time she experienced it. Page Six recalled an incident back in 2016 when she and John Legend attended the American Music Awards.
While posing on the red carpet, she accidentally gave the public an "eyeful" during that night. Her black Yousef Akbar gown "offered glimpses of her nether regions" as the photographers took their shots.
The dress looked "fabulous," though, from the front. However, the mother of two seemingly appeared embarrassed by the "epic" wardrobe malfunction. The following day, she took her apologies to Instagram. She said sorry to "anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha."
Despite all the fashion mishaps, Chrissy Teigen remained stylish as ever in recent days. As the lockdown continues to ease down in the United States, she and John Legend have been enjoying dining out in Los Angeles.
On Monday, the couple had lunch with friends in Beverly Hills, according to the Daily Mail. She wore a black leather jacket on top of her black dress. She completed the look with her knee-high boots with "spiky" heels and fishnet tights.
Meanwhile, her husband wore a pink ombre sweater, alongside his dark slacks and sneakers. They, also, donned face masks during the outing.
The two men who were with them were not identified. But, the same publication described that they were wearing a green and beige camo jacket and an olive green parka.
During their lunch, Chrissy Teigen had a green salad. Reports, then, recalled that she likes having a bowl of it for lunch. She has a preference, though, when it comes to lunch salads. She revealed that she is fond of "blood orange, tangerine, and grapefruit salad," along with a lemon balsamic dressing, basil, and Burrata.
