Crime Syndicate #1 is about to arrive in the next few weeks. Ahead of its release, fans and followers have recently obtained a quick preview of what DC had prepared for its "evil Justice League" franchise.

CBR released a report, covering the latest teaser for the miniseries' first issue. As stated, the material features a "shocking twist on American history" as it will tackle JFK's assassination.

It opens on November 22, 1963, which is the assassination of the former U.S. President. But, in Earth-3, Clark Kent was the assassin, seemingly hinting that this is where his story began as the future Ultraman.

As Clark Kent, he used his heat vision to "obliterate" the American leader. Fast forward to the present day, the other set of previews for the upcoming issue shows the all-grown Ultraman "assaulting the Daily Planet."

A separate report from CBR explained that the creators of DC's "evil Justice League" described Ultraman as the "paranoid Titan." In his origin story, which happens to be the center of Crime Syndicate #1, he felt betrayed after learning his true origins.

This sent him on a "spiral into paranoia," causing him to trust no one except himself. Following the events, he could no longer establish a connection with others, and has since lived a life where no one would ever hurt him again.

Speaking to Newsrama, writer Andy Schmidt shared more details about his, Kieran McKeown, and Bryan Hitch's version of the "evil Justice League." He said the fans should not expect that the storyline will depart from "what makes the Syndicate cool and interesting."

He, also, said that there will be a few differences, though, when it comes to the execution of the story presentation. Schmidt, then, noted that they intend to "keep them [as] villains," adding that they have written these characters "as independent of their counterparts on Earth-0."

Screen Rant previously released a report, discussing the arrival of Crime Syndicate #1 and its five other issues. As explained, this new miniseries from DC is part of the franchise's "line-wide relaunch" of the Infinite Frontier.

The events in the lives of the evil Justice League members follow the "multiverse-shattering" twists in Dark Nights: Death Metal. It caused the rebirth of the multiverse, and with it, "new heroes and villains spawn."

Crime Syndicate first appeared in 1964, in Justice League of America #29. While tons of iterations emerged over the years, the new miniseries offers new twists and looks for the evil Justice League members.

The first issue will arrive on March 2. It will be available in various comic book shops, as well as digital platforms.
