WARNING: This article contains some spoilers for the fifth season of Peaky Blinders. Read at your own risk.

Peaky Blinders season 6 will be introducing a new character once the period crime drama returns on BBC. The series started production in January 2021 after encountering several filming setbacks due to the global health crisis. It was also confirmed that the upcoming installment will be the final one.

Even though the series is ending, Peaky Blinders season 6 is still adding a new face on board. In the official Twitter account of the show, it was announced that Conrad Khan will be the latest addition in the final run. However, his character is yet to be revealed.

The 21-year-old actor launched his acting career in 2015 and he already garnered several award nominations. For instance, he was nominated for the BAFTA 2021 EE Rising Star Award and British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer.

Khan played his first role in the 2015 TV movie Virtuoso. After that, he became part of The Huntsman: Winter's War, where he portrayed the younger version of Chris Hemsworth's Eric. In 2018, he starred as Tyler in the film, titled Country Line.

At the moment, Khan's role in Peaky Blinders season 6 remains unknown since the show isn't listed on his IMDb profile. For now, fans have to wait for a while as the series has just kicked off production. Details about his role might be revealed in the coming weeks.

As for what else is coming in the story, the final installment picks up where season 5 left off. Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) had a plan to take out his political rival, Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin). He broke out his old war buddy, Barney (Cosmo Jarvis), to kill the latter during a political rally.

However, the plan backfired and the season ended with Tommy pointing a gun at his head. Mosley is still alive, so most of the unresolved threads need to be addressed in Peaky Blinders season 6. This storyline will further continue when the series premieres.

Meanwhile, series creator Steven Knight promised that the story will continue in "another form" even if it's ending after the sixth installment. He said that he wanted to end the series with a movie, something that's been planned since the beginning and that's "what is going to happen."

Peaky Blinders season 6 has no official release date as of this writing.
