Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, made an unexpected appearance during their first-ever interview with Oprah Winfrey since stepping back from their royal life.

The special homemade footage shared by the Sussexes to Winfrey showed Archie running at the beach with his parents and the family dogs, presumably in their home in Montecito, California. Harry told Winfrey that he definitely loves how he is able to walk and go biking with his wife and child because he never got to do these things as a kid growing up in the royal family. He said that the highlight of his non-royal life so far has been teaching Archie how to ride a bike.

Meghan also shared that Archie has hysterical choices of words for a child who's not even two years old. Archie's newest favorite word is "hydrate" but he also likes to remind people in the house to "drive safe" when they leave.

The last time the public got a glimpse of Archie was when a charity Instagram page shared a video of his mother reading to him. The baby was also part of Harry and Meghan's first Archewell Audio release with Spotify. Archie briefly said, "Happy New Year," for the Sussex pair's holiday podcast.

Meghan told Winfrey that they wanted Archie to have a royal title not because of the prestige but because this meant that he could get security and protection from the Palace. However, there were apparently some discussions among the royal family and the Palace's old guards to refuse giving Archie a title even if his grandfather, Charles, becomes a sovereign. Her statements alluded that the reason for this could be because his son is biracial but Meghan said that she still does not know why her son could not be prince when she believes it is his birthright.

But titled members of the royal family only go as far as the children of the first-born son of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. This means that only Prince William's children have the privilege to be titled and to get security because of their status in the hierarchy and the line of succession.

If Charles becomes the sovereign, he could issue an order to give Archie's title. However, based on the Sussex pair's statement, this was never going to be the case for their children.

Harry refused to discuss who in his family asked about Archie's skin color. But his voice did croak when he spoke of his son's security.
